About the Teacher

Education

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Earth Science, as well as a minor in Geography from William Paterson University, and I am currently working towards my Masters Degree in Education with a focus in STEM Leadership. I continue to interact with university students and staff through various scientific discussions, fossil excavations, caving, surveying, field studies, and other activities. 

 

Experiences

This is my fifth year here at Califon School as the Middle School Science Teacher as well as the Enrichment Coordinator and STEM instructor. Before coming to Califon, I taught in the Paterson School district as the fifth and sixth grade science teacher as well as the Elementary School Science Department Head. I also have experience in enrichment programs in science and STEM. 

 

About Me

I love to travel and experience all the different things the world has to offer, it inspires me to show students the world around us. I am an avid outdoors adventurer; I enjoy hiking, fishing, swimming, biking, caving, horseback riding, etc. I also love my downtime at home reading, watching movies, spending time with friends and family, and of course spoiling my dog, Milly!
