Summer Assignments

During your summer vacation, there are a few things I would like you to continue to work on.

Math: Make sure you are all brushed up on your math facts!  This way you will be all ready to start math in September. You can use your favorite website or good old fashioned flashcards.

Writing: I would encourage you to write whenever possible! It is fun to keep a small journal of your favorite activities from the summer. Please bring a list of 5 things that you did this summer and be ready to write about at least 1 of the items on your list.

Reading: Please choose and read two books appropriate for your reading level. I have attached a graphic organizer (in your summer packet) for you to fill out. This way you will not forget what you read. It will be used for a project we will be completing on one of the first days of school. Please bring the completed graphic organizers on the first day of school.
